The full-time courses of Cph North are attended by approximately 900 full-time students. In addition, we have over 4,000 part-time students.
Our hall of residence, and the international education programmes – create a campus atmosphere.
Our Cph North is not only a place of learning but also a place where you can spend your spare time. That’s why the students have access to the buildings and facilities 24 hours a day.
The result is an active and motivating atmosphere where academic activities and social activities complement each other. At the hub of these activities is the student council which apart from managing social events, café and bar functions, sports etc., make sure that our students can exert a direct influence on everyday activities.
All students are expected to have their own portable pc. However, the Academy has a spacious open learning area with free access to computers and the Internet. All classrooms are fitted with PCs and large-size screens. All buildings have wireless Internet connection. We also have an auditorium, a network laboratory and a multimedia workshop.
Students have access to a sports hall, a sports field and an indoor swimming pool at selected times. The library covers all our subject areas and is part of a network of university libraries in Denmark and other countries.
The permanent lecturers of Cph North have very different backgrounds and are highly specialised as to their education and job experience. In addition, the Academy employs part-time lecturers and guest lecturers from the business sector and universities at home and abroad.
Everyone regardless of colour, race, sex and religion is welcome. We don’t have a dresscode, but our teaching methods include the nonverbal communication, so we can see the smile on your lips, the twinkle in your eye and your concerned frown.
Your religious opinion is welcome, whenever it can promote the benefit of an academic discussion or theme. We don’t however give room for the exercise of any specific religion.
