Copenhagen North (in Danish "København Nord") is a state-funded and self-governing institution comprising a business college as well as a business academy.
Copenhagen North has its own Board consisting of 14 members representing the local businesses, organisations and local politicians. The day–to-day running of Copenhagen North is the responsibility of a Director.
Copenhagen North all together has about 2000 full-time and 3000 part-time students. There are a total of 250 staff members including 100 academy faculty members.
Copenhagen North offers professional higher education programmes within IT and business.
The Business Academy offers several of its programmes in English. Both Danish and international students attend the English speaking classes.
Business Academy Copenhagen North has its own hall of residence with 80 rooms and a guest house.
Copenhagen North is situated in the northern part of Copenhagen, 12 km from the very centre of Copenhagen in scenic surroundings. Transportation facilities are good.
The town of Lyngby is a commercial and cultural centre where also some of the country’s largest companies have their headquarters.
